The Problem:

A leading operator of petrol stations and convenience stores, encountered a significant rodent problem at their site in Polmadie. Rats were gaining access to the bin store area through gaps in the fenced enclosure. This issue posed a threat to sanitation and the overall cleanliness of the site, potentially leading to health hazards and negative customer experiences.

Our Solution:

Detailed Site Inspection: The site was thoroughly inspected to identify all gaps in the fenced area that could serve as entry points for rats.
Custom Aluminium Plate Installation: To seal these gaps, aluminium plates were designed and installed around the bin store. Aluminium was chosen for its durability, resistance to corrosion, and ability to provide a secure seal.
The installation process was carried out with precision to ensure that all gaps were effectively covered without hindering the functionality of the bin store. The plates were securely fixed to prevent any movement or dislodgement over time.

The Results:

The aluminium plate installation by Vergo Pest Management successfully resolved the rat ingress problem at the site. Since the implementation, there have been no call-backs for additional proofing work, indicating the long-term effectiveness of the solution.
